Ellie peeked at the images on the camera. Doomsday was in every picture, jumping out like the villainous Photo Bomber!

Super Fluffy and Ellie searched the entire city. They came across prank after prank. But no prankster!

Where is that villain? Ellie wondered.

Just then she heard grumblings outside the movie theater. A showing of Ghost in the Funhouse had just started, but moviegoers were already shuffling out.

Ellie flew up to a grumpy-looking girl. “Why are you leaving? The movie’s not over.”

“Somebody spoiled the ending,” the girl said. “Turns out, there isn’t any ghost. It’s only a mouse!”

Ellie gritted her teeth in frustration. Rats! She was supposed to see that movie with Dad next week. So much for surprises!

“The same guy who spoiled the ending also talked through the whole movie,” the girl said. “And he chewed his popcorn really loudly. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he left his garbage everywhere!”

“Is he still in there?” Ellie asked hopefully.

The girl shook her head. “Nope. See?” She picked an empty popcorn box up off the ground. On the outside was Doomsday’s signature frown. “He littered on his way out!” With an irritated sigh, the girl threw the box in the trash and stomped off.

Ellie scanned the horizon. Doomsday’s pranks stretched as far and wide as she could see. There was no end in super sight. It seemed like the city’s day of doom would go on forever!

“Poor Frown — I mean, Winkopolis,” Ellie said, flopping down on a bench.

Super Fluffy tugged on her cape, trying to pull her out of her foul funk. He probably wanted to play.

“Not now, Fluffster,” Ellie said.

He tugged again.

“No, Super Fluffy,” she said, shooing him away. “We don’t have time to play. Not with the ultimate bad-mood dude on the loose!”

But Super Fluffy would not give up. He tugged on her cape again.

“Super Fluffy, I said —” Looking down, Ellie noticed Super Fluffy was sitting next to another empty popcorn box. She spotted another box beyond that one and some cups beyond that. The garbage trailed down the road.

Suddenly Ellie understood. “It’s a trail of Doomsday’s trash!” she exclaimed. She leaped to her feet. “If we follow it, it’ll lead us right to Doomsday. You figured that out, didn’t you?”

“Ruff!” Super Fluffy barked. He stood tall, looking quite pleased with himself.

“Super Fluffy, you’re a super genius!” Ellie cheered. “Let’s go!”
